Harry Clayton Brace
I have an old studio photograph of Harry C. BRACE which was taken at a studio in Minneapolis, MN and dated 1893. Harry appears to be in his teens or 20's at the time the photograph was taken. Based on limited research and thanks to family genealogists I was able to gather the following information regarding Harry and his family:
Harry Clayton BRACE was b. 6 Apr 1871 in Lawn Ridge, IL to parents Charles Hopkins BRACE (1841-1892) and Kezia “Kizzie” Y. FLINT (1839-1878). Harry was one of 5 children born to this couple including Charles Loring; Linna Eleainor; Lillian “Lilla” E.; Harry Clayton; and Ernest Wilfred BRACE, all born between 1864 and 1873. After his mother died his father married Della Marie or Mona SOUTHWELL JUDSON (1842-1909) and two additional children were born, Dr. Southwell BRACE (1880-1960) and Bessie BRACE (b. 1881).
Harry married Eugenia or Eugenie Marie LARAMEE or LAREMEE (1871-1946) on 23 Oct 1895 in Minneapolis, MN and they had two children including Louise Eugenie BRACE HORN (1896-1939) and Harriet or Harriett A. BRACE (1901-1906). Harry died 4 Dec 1941 in Hennepin County, MN and is buried in the Lakewood Cemetery in Minneapolis, MN. His daughter Louise married Charles Lilley HORN, and they had a son William Brace HORN (1930-2022) who we believe had two children including David A. HORN and Louisa A. HORN DIAS both born in the 1950’s.
I would like to get this photograph back to family and would appreciate you contacting me if you are a member of this family or know someone who might be.
Thanks,
Shelley

Susan Lord Maling Bourne
I have an old studio photograph of Susie L. MALING which was taken at the M. F. King Studio in Portland, ME. Appears to have been taken in the 1870’s with Susie likely about 10-15 years old at the time. Based on limited research I was able to gather the following information regarding Susie and her family:
Susan “Susie” Lord MALING was b. 21 Feb 1859 in Kennebunk, ME to parents Capt. Moses Cushing MALING (1819-1893) and Olive Porter CHADBOURNE (1824-1878). Susie had two siblings, Mary Abby MALING STEVENS (1849-1917) and Charles Howard “Hobby” MALING (1853-1858). Susie married Dr. George William BOURNE (1857-1949) on 21 Oct 1886 in Kennebunk, ME and they had a daughter, Mary Maling BOURNE BOUTELL (1889-1984). Susie died 18 Jun 1950 in Santa Barbara, CA and is buried in the Hope Cemetery in Kennebunk, ME.
Her daughter Mary appears to have married Hugh G. BOUTELL (b. 1893) and they had a daughter Susan Mary BOUTELL (b. 1918) and they were all living in Washington DC with Susie in their household in 1920. The BOUTELL family remained in Washington DC through 1940. Her granddaughter Susan Mary BOUTELL married John H. MCLEOD in Santa Barbara, CA on 23 Jun 1951 and they had a son Robert Boutell MCLEOD born in Ventura County, CA in the 1950’s. It appears that Robert Boutell MCLEOD has lived in La Jolla, CA; Tucson, AZ; and Monument, CO.
