I have an old studio photograph of Harry C. BRACE which was taken at a studio in Minneapolis, MN and dated 1893. Harry appears to be in his teens or 20's at the time the photograph was taken. Based on limited research and thanks to family genealogists I was able to gather the following information regarding Harry and his family:

Harry Clayton BRACE was b. 6 Apr 1871 in Lawn Ridge, IL to parents Charles Hopkins BRACE (1841-1892) and Kezia “Kizzie” Y. FLINT (1839-1878). Harry was one of 5 children born to this couple including Charles Loring; Linna Eleainor; Lillian “Lilla” E.; Harry Clayton; and Ernest Wilfred BRACE, all born between 1864 and 1873. After his mother died his father married Della Marie or Mona SOUTHWELL JUDSON (1842-1909) and two additional children were born, Dr. Southwell BRACE (1880-1960) and Bessie BRACE (b. 1881).

Harry married Eugenia or Eugenie Marie LARAMEE or LAREMEE (1871-1946) on 23 Oct 1895 in Minneapolis, MN and they had two children including Louise Eugenie BRACE HORN (1896-1939) and Harriet or Harriett A. BRACE (1901-1906). Harry died 4 Dec 1941 in Hennepin County, MN and is buried in the Lakewood Cemetery in Minneapolis, MN. His daughter Louise married Charles Lilley HORN, and they had a son William Brace HORN (1930-2022) who we believe had two children including David A. HORN and Louisa A. HORN DIAS both born in the 1950’s.

I have an old studio photograph of S. C. SHAPLEIGH which was taken at the Charles A. Meinerth Studio in Newburyport, MA. The photograph appears to have been taken in the 1870’s or 1880’s with Mr. SHAPLEIGH likely in his 30’s at the time it was taken. Based on limited research I was able to determine that this is a photograph of Samuel C. SHAPLEIGH and gathered the following information regarding Samuel and his family:

Samuel C. SHAPLEIGH was b. 20 Jul 1851 in West Lebanon, ME to parents Charles SHAPLEIGH (1811-1881) and Elizbeth Jackson CORBETT (1817-1899). Samuel was one of 12 children born to this couple including Sarah Elizabeth; Charles Waldron; Helen Perry; Henry Clay; Mary Corbett; Frances Augusta; Phebe Ricker; Samuel; Nancy Corbett; Ida Belle or Idabelle; Edna Waldron; and Harriette or Harriet Louise SHAPLEIGH, all born between 1839 and 1861.

Samuel married twice, first to Luella Laverne LORD (1857-1909) on 2 Oct 1879 in Lebanon, ME and they had 6 children Elizabeth Lord; Lena Florence; Marion Louise; 2 Baby Boys; and Baby Girl SHAPLEIGH, all born between 1881 and 1899. Samuel married Anne or Ann “Annie” Maria or Mariah POTTER BAIRD (1852-1935) on 29 Apr 1911 in Worcester, MA. Samuel was a farmer and died 9 Feb 1920 in Ashburnham, MA and is buried in the New Cemetery in Ashburnham.

I have an old studio photograph of Sebastian WILLACKER which was taken at the Pennington Studio in New Washington, OH. The photograph appears to have been taken in the 1890's or early 1900's with Sebastian likely in his 60's at the time it was taken. He is also identified as "Cousin to Great Grandma WIETHMANS". Based on limited research I was able to gather the following information regarding Sebastian and his family:

Sebastian WILLACKER was b. 17 or 19 or 26 Mar 1830 in Nuremberg or Vasbuhl, Germany to parents Adam WILLACKER (1799-1874) and Elizabeth “Elise” or “Elsie” SCHMUCK (1803-1870) who were married 19 Aug 1823 in Vasbuhl, Germany. Sebastian was one of 19 children born to this couple including Eva; Anton; Adam; Adam; Anton; Jonas; Sebastian; Barbara; Andrew; Andrew; Eva; Eva; Kasper Boniface; Anna Elizabeth; A. M. Franzika; Anonyma; Margaret Antonia; Franz Ludwig; and George Severin WILLACKER, all born between 1824 and 1852.

Sebastian married Mary Magdalena or Madaline “Lena” KELLER (1834-1902) on 3 Sept 1854 in Vasbuhl, Germany and they had 10 children including Magdalena Philomena “Minnie”; Elizabeth “Lizzie”; Victoria Barbara; George B. or P.; Charles Sebastian; Joseph Anthony; John Henry; Mary Sheridan; Peter Alphonse; and Michael WILLACKER all born between 1855 and 1875. Sebastian died 7 or 14 or 16 or 17 Dec 1911 in Mayfield or Traverse City, MI and he is buried in the Saint Mary of Hannah Catholic Church Cemetery in Hannah, MI.

I have an old studio photograph of J. T. ROBINSON of Linton or Sinton, IA which was taken at the J. C. Foster Studio in Monmouth, IL. I’ve determined that this is a photograph of James T. ROBINSON who was part of the Class of 1874 at Monmouth College which is most likely when the photograph was taken. Based on limited research I was able to gather the following information regarding James and his family:

James Theron ROBINSON b. 4 May 1849 in Iowa City or West Point, IA to James O. ROBINSON (1813-1890) and Isabella ORR (1826-1896). James was one of 7 children born to this family including Mary Jane Isabella “Belle” or “Maybelle”; James Theron; John Casillas; Elizabeth Emma; Hannah Peninna; Alletta Cassey; and Lois Etta ROBINSON, all born between 1848 and 1867. James was married to Sarah Ophelia BOTTORFF or BOTTOROFF (1857-1950) in 1878.

James and Sarah had 5 children including Baby Girl; Ernest or Earnest Wilson; Mary Isabella or Isabelle; Ina Ophelia; and Vera or Thera Pinnina or Pearl ROBINSON, all born between 1878 and 1898. James died 25 Mar 1933 in Los Gatos, CA and he is buried in the Mountain View Cemetery in Oakland, CA.
