William Thomas Linton after the Civil War
After the Civil War,William T and his family left Alabama and settled in Texas.The photo was taken at his son Wiley and wife Mary Lou Stokes home.The full photo shows Willam T, Wiley,Mary Lou and Ole Blue the dog in front of Wiley's home.The white strap across William T's left shoulder is a haversack which the soldiers wore during the war
