John was a Reverend of the Methodist faith and was ordained by Bishop McFerrin. He also served in the Pennsylvania Legislature. As a 14 year old he was with Washington's forces as he crossed the Delaware and then guarded prisoners in Trenton.

Margaret Jones was born in 1764. She was married to John Davis in 1792 in Frederick County, Maryland United States, and had a child John Wesley Davis. Margaret Jones died at age 59 years old in 1823. Family, friend, or fan, this family history biography is for you to remember Margaret Jones.


John Wesley Davis was Speaker of the House of Representatives, Ambassador to China and the Governor of the Oregon Territories. He was born in Pennsylvania to Reverend John Davis and Ann Hoover. He was the third child of seven born to the couple. Originally apprenticed to be a watchmaker he decided that medicine was his true calling. Eventually he made his way to Indiana where he served in the Legislature and then making his way to Congress.

Lenore Mcmullen of Florida was born on March 19, 1922, and died at age 62 years old in February 1985.
