Karim Zakikhani born Feb 29, 1984 Harris County, Texas

Karim's mother was Sandra Kay Peterson. Records show that Karim lived in Houston Texas. In 2013, Karim, who was a security guard, met a fellow security guard at work (Sarita Anderson) and started an extra-marital affair with her. They both had STD testing but his test was blank under "HIV" He said that the doctor would call him if he tested positive. (That was a lie.) In 2014, the girlfriend experienced "flu like" symptoms and lost a great amount of weight. She found out that she had caught HIV from Karim and that he knew that he had HIV at least 5 years before. Sarita talked to Karim's wife and mother and found out the truth: He knowingly and intentionally infected her with HIV. Sarita brought suit against Karim and in 2018, he was sentenced to 30 years in prison.
