I was in school with Arlis for 12 yrs. The first 8 were in country school (Dist. # 71) in Steele Co., Mn. We attended church and Sunday School in the same church and same area until we graduated from Owatonna High School in 1960. She was the daughter of Adolph and Susie Jensen of rural Owatonna, Mn. She had 2 older sisters, She was baptized, confirmed and married at Aurora Lutheran Church of rural Owatonna, Mn. She and her husband, Richard Winship raised a family. They lost a infant son, Scott, who is buried at Aurora Cemetery, too. Arlis passed away in Rochester, Olmsted Co., Mn on Tuesday, Oct. 7, 2003 and was buried at Aurora Cemetery on Saturday, Oct. 11, 2003.
