Sondra was born in Iowa in 1938 to Mother Maxine M (Sitton) and birth father, D. Vanderpool,. Sondra’s Step-father was Herbert Sitton. Brother - H. Dean Sitton. Sondra married Dennis Borchers (1956) and later they divorced. She married again on 02/14/1972 to Charles E.Waggoner (deceased), whom she met while working at AVIS at the international airport in Dayton, Ohio. Charles worked for TWA. Sondra became a homemaker at the age of 47 after ending her employment at the Masonic Temple in Dayton , Ohio. Sondra was very intelligent and witty. She was highly fond of animals. She had a side to her that could be very compassionate, caring, and nurturing but this lay hidden behind fierce rage and anger on a daily basis. She played by the rules of revenge and spewed venom as she saw fit. She loved to drink Genesee Ale -her happier moments of the day came at evening after consuming several bottles of her favorite brew. She was addicted to television shopping channels and thought nothing of spending thousands of dollars on jewelry or electronics. Sondra had no biological children and no biological nieces or nephews. Sondra is buried at Forest Hills Memorial Gardens in Vandalia, Ohio next to her second husband Charles E Waggoner.

Mary Esther Dees had a younger sister named Ruth Dees. Mary Esther married Bert Jay Vanderpool and they had a son named Glenn Vanderpool. Glenn Vanderpool married Leona Kunce. Leona was a Rose Festival Princess during WW.II. Because of that, there were no Rose Parades in Portland Oregon during the war. Leona had a sister named Helen, one named Francis, and one named Nellie. As I understand it, there was one who died at a very early age and was buried at their farm off of Brugger Road.
