Nadyne Joan Turney was born to Ernest Charles Turney (1888 - 1943) and Maxine Lavone Digby (born 1904). Her father was born in England and her mother was born in British Columbia, Canada. She had one brother, Digby Turney. Nadyne Turney married first, Gefald Hamilton (1930 - 1967) in April of 1952 in Sapperton, British Columbia, Canada. They were married until Gefald passed away at the age of 37. They had been married for 15 years. She then married Maurice L. Hewitt (born 1934) on February 11, 1967, in Los Angeles, California.
