The ancestors of Toor Family migrated from Egypt to The Indian Subcontinent in the middle of 8th Century and settled around Dehli & Hayderabad Dakkan. Their actual Trade was import & export of goods from continent to continent. Most of them married to Indian Muslim women and their Off Springs started cultivation in India. The Cultivators of that time in Punjab & other areas were known to be Jatt. Therefore The Toors who started cultivation were also called to be Jatt Toor. Similarly many of the off springs of Toors also made families with many RAJAs of India and were called Rajpoot Toor. The formal prime minister of India Mr. Man Mohan Singh was also Jatt Toor and in India many of the SIKHS are also from the Toor ancestors. There are many villages named Toor in India In Pakistan the Muslims Jatt and Rajput Toor are scattered in the different areas of the country. The most unique feature of the Toor Family is that the became the first believers of each of the Prophets who came to this world after Prophet Ibrahim A. s. They became believers of each Prophet till Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) without demanding any meracle because to demand the miracle from the Holy Messengers was the custom of the ancient believers.
There is the Mountain known as Koh e Toor in Egypt where Hazrat Musa used to Conversate with Allah but Musa could not see Allah and listened His Mighty Sound only. When Musa asked Allah to show Himself to Musa, Only one glymps of Allah's Light was there and the Mountain of Toor was burnt and people still use the black ash of this burnt mountain as a powder in their eyes.
