This is a picture of my great grandather, William Dyer Tharp. He appears in a Civil War Uniform. The other photo is his wife, Mariah Dean Tharp, taken at a much later date. I have been trying to locate his family beyond his mother, Martha Dyer, grandfather, William Dyer (or Dyre) who married an Elizabeth (possibly in Clermont, OH) in 1810.

This is Elmer Tharp and his bride, Dorcas McCullough. Both Elmer and Dorcas were 19.

This is Milton Tharp's wife, Josephine Minerva Shipman.

This is a picture of Josephine Minerva Shipman. She was widowed by Milton Tharp in 1891, and married S.A. Martin in 1895. Her daughter, Cora Martin, was born in 1898. Josephine bore 4 children in two marriages and died 04/28/1947.

Jeff Tharp was written on the back of this Photo, and was in the possession of Tharp's in Arkansas. This is a photo of Thomas Jefferson Tharp born 08/09/1886 then died 01/13/1961. Thomas is verified by surviving family members as being called "Jeff".

Nettie Tharp (1885-1974). Daughter of James Jackson "Jack" Tharp(1840-1899). Grandaughter of William Tharp(1813-1895). Married 11/04/1902 to Jesse Ephraim WOODS.

Elmer Tharp 1883-1978 (left) and son Cletus Tharp (Right). Elmer is a son of Milton Tharp.

This is William Tharp. Son of John Tharp and Elizabeth Dollar. William was born 08/05/1813 and died 12/05/1895. He is my GGGGrandfather. This photo belonged to my GGrandfather (Elmer Tharp). He identified it as a picture of his grandad. He also posessed a picture of his Dad (William's son) Milton.
