The grave of Norman Symons and wife Virginia (Williams) Symons in Georgia.

I've "rescued" a group of three photographs belonging to the SYMONS and TREVARTHEN Family or Michigan. The first is a photograph of Annie SYMONS which was taken at the L. Winsor Studio in Champion, MI sometime in the 1880's or 1890's. Annie appears to be in her teens at the time the photograph was taken. The second photograph is one of Annie SYMONS, Mother SYMONS, Aunt Mary SYMONS, and Mother TREVARTHEN. The photograph was also taken at the same studio in Champion, likely in the 1880's with Annie appearing to be in her teens and the other three women ranging in age from 40's to 70's.

The third photograph is identified as William SYMONS and was likely taken in the 1890's. The photograph includes a man in his 30's or 40's standing in front of a house/building with what appears to be a ledger/journal open with two young boys about 6-12 years old standing out front and a man and woman in a horse drawn carriage. One of the boys is holding the lead to the horse. Also written on this photograph is "Wes CUNDY Family". Based on limited research I was able to locate the following information regarding this SYMONS family.

William H. SYMONS was b. 14 Mar 1862 in Penzance, England to parents William SYMONS (b. 1840) and Penelope POLKINGHORN (1842-1924). William H. SYMONS married Elizabeth THOMAS and together they had 8 children, including, Annie; William James; Samual John; Joseph H.; Arthur S.; Telfer T.; Gladys B.; and Harold S. SYMONS, all born between 1875 and 1900. William H. SYMONS died 14 Jun 1925 in Champion, MI. William’s son Arthur Stanley was b. 14 Jun 1895 in Franklin Mine, MI and died 19 Dec 1972 in Nadeau, MI.
