William M.B. Swindell was a soldier in the United States Civil War. His brothers was also in the war with him Lewis Leroy Swindell, and John O Swindell. Lewis leroy was my maternal ggrandfather. I read it was a sad day when William Miles Brock Swindell lost his life in battle. He was killed in action at the battle of cedar run. the troops grieved for their capt. he was beloved by them.he also had many cousins with him.
