Living next to John A. Tindal and his wife Mary Ann Barrington is their daughter Jo Anna Palestine Tindal and her husband Samuel Marion Stephenson. He is listed as 31 and she is 23 years of age. In the 1910 census they are listed with one child, Mary Alene age 2.

Obituary of Samuel Marion Stephenson
Samuel Marion Stephenson, 70 died on August 3rd, after a brief illness. He was a member of the Baptist Church and was a highly respected citizen of his community. Surviving are his wife; one son John B. Stephenson, Greenville; one daughter, Mrs. T. B. Head Phenix City; eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Funeral services were conducted August 4th at Black Rock with the Rev. Ralph Mullins officiating . Burial in the Black Rock Cemetery with Brunson Funeral Home directing. The Masonic Lodge was in charge at the grave side.
Jo Anna Palestine Tindal is also buried at the Blackrock Cemetery next to Samuel. Blackrock is located in Crenshaw County, Alabama between Luverne and Greenville.

She is Mary Alene Stephenson and her husband Benjamin Head. Mary Alene is listed as 22 years of age and her husband Benjamin is listed as 27. No children are listed.
Obituary of Samuel Marion Stephenson
Samuel Marion Stephenson, 70 died on August 3rd, after a brief illness. He was a member of the Baptist Church and was a highly respected citizen of his community. Surviving are his wife; one son John B. Stephenson, Greenville; one daughter, Mrs. T. B. Head Phenix City; eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Funeral services were conducted August 4th at Black Rock with the Rev. Ralph Mullins officiating . Burial in the Black Rock Cemetery with Brunson Funeral Home directing. The Masonic Lodge was in charge at the grave side.
Jo Anna Palestine Tindal is also buried at the Blackrock Cemetery next to Samuel. Blackrock is located in Crenshaw County, Alabama between Luverne and Greenville.
