Her Daughter was Hattie, married to a Booher then to David Whaley of Eastern TN ( Bristol metro area) They Lived in Smith Creek, VA in Washington County. They had 12 children in all Step and full.
My Mother , Rebecca Whaley, was born in 1942. She was married to Eldon Cyrus of Green Sulphur Springs, WV in 1963. I was born Mary Elizabeth Cyrus in 1965.
Virginia is 1/2 eastern band cherokee. I don't know too much about Tom Skeen, but would like too learn more about the Russell/Wise County Skeen family.
I do know that all Skeen come from Scottish Skeen Brother, from Aberdeenshire Scotland, we have a taran, motto and ties to Robertson CLAN, AND TO The real "braveheart"
