Violet SCHULTZ FITTON
I have in my possession and old studio photograph of Violet SCHULTZ FITTON. There is no studio or location identified on the photograph. The photograph appears to have been taken in the early 1900’s with Violet likely 20’s at the time it was taken. Based on limited research I was able to gather the following information regarding Violet and her family:
Violet M. SCHULTZ was b. 23 May 1887 in Buffalo, NY to parents Jacob SCHULTZ (b. 1861) and Anna “Annie” PEASLAND (b. 1867). Violet was one of 6 children born to this couple including, Violet M.; Elizer or Elijah; Stanley; Margaret; Gertrude; and Jennie SCHULTZ, all born between 1887 and 1899. Violet married Arthur FITTON (1877-1959) 20 Oct 1915 in Buffalo, NY and they had three children, Alfred FITTON (1917-1917); Walter Arthur FITTON (1926-2001) and a daughter. Violet died 5 Mar 1961 and is buried in the Elmlawn Cemetery in Tonawanda, NY.

Frank Schultz
I’ve “rescued” an old photograph of Frank SCHULTZ which was taken at the Killion Studio in East St. Louis, MO. The photograph appears to have been taken in the early 1900’s with Frank appearing to be in his 50’s or 60’s at that time. In addition to his name, someone has written “Father of S. M. SCHULTZ”, I’m hoping to locate someone from this family so that the photograph can be returned to the care of family. Laurel Fern Schultz Nisbet was born to John E. Schultz and Florien M. McClure Hayward and she had a sister Mildred Leone Shultz Taylor (1909-2006). She married Robert Woolsey Nisbet on July 14th 1937 in Hollywood California and they had two children.
Laurel died at age 72 after surviving for 37 years in an iron lung (similar to this photo De & Doreen Wiltse) after being stricken by polio in 1948. She was paralyzed from the neck down but still managed to oversee the household. She is credited by the "Guiness Book of World Records" as the longest survivor of the respirator.

My great grandfather came over to England with the Barnam & Bailey Circus mid 1890's - Charles Fritz Schultz (Born @ 1872). Are there any relatives out there? He had children with a Lilian Berhm/n - Lilian died in 1900 in Leicester, England aged 28. Also looking for info of a step-daughter, Dolly Barham who was living with Charles in 1901 England Census (ages 10 - born @ 1891)?
