Louisa married her first cousin, Jonathan Charles Cooper, son of Elizabeth Rouse and Jonathan Cooper, and brother of my great-grandmother Esther Cooper.

This picture is of Mary Rouse and perhaps her sister Catherine. Mary was born in 1853 to Benjamin A and Elizabeth Black Rouse, in Branchville, Frankford Twp. Sussex County, New Jersey. She may have emigrated to Ireland about 1875, leaving her husband, Decker A. Roleson (Rolison) and her two sons behind. Zenas Rouse witnessed the marriage of Benjamin and Elizabeth. I have only found one of his name living in the State of New York.

This is from a negative loaned to me when I was in Jr High by my "Gma", Alice Rouse. Alice's first husband was a Mr Lee and they had 2 sons, Alvin and Bill. The widow, Mrs Lee, married William L Flint, in the 60s. I believe this is one of Gma's Rouse family members. She also had a brother who wrote the book, "Montana Bullwhacker" in the 60s. I know very little about the Rouse family but have plenty of interest because this was the only gma I ever knew. She was an angel.
I would appreciate any leads to the family of my gma, Alice Rouse Lee Flint. She had a grandson in Pablo and other grandchildren in Great Falls, Montana. We grew up together during the summer months.

Rouse Family part 2
Alice Rouse married a Mr Lee and had two sons. One became an MD and the other was a mill worker. The widow, Mrs Lee, married William L Flint in the 60s. William was my gmpa. Gma Alice loaned me some of her old negatives for my Jr High photography class and this is part of one of them. The negative was too large for the carrier so I had to make the print in 2 parts. Alice also had a brother(?) who wrote the book, Montana Bullwhacker", in the 60s. I would like to connect with my Gma Alice's family again. If you can lead me to them, please contact me.

Another Rouse Picture
My gma, Alice Rouse Lee Flint, loaned me some of her old negatives when I was in Jr High for my photography class. She had a brother named Charlie Rouse who wrote the book, "Montana Bull Whacker" in the 60s. I believe this is Alice standing behind the car on the right of the photo. The negative was too large for the carrier so the photo is in two parts. I would like to find Gma's family again. Her gson and I grew up together in the summers.

Unknown subjects. My gmpa, William Flint, married Alice Rouse Lee in the 60s. When I was in Jr High, Gma Alice allowed me to use some of her old negatives in photography class. Her name was Rouse and they homesteaded in Charlo. Her brother(?), Charlie Rouse, wrote a book named, "Montana Bullwhacker". Her first husband was a Mr Lee and they had two sons. One was an MD and the other was a mill worker. This is one of her negatives that I printed up in school. I would love to find her family again.

My father Elijah went to Brunswick Georgia and brought my mother and children back to Columbus South Carolina to watch me graduate.That was the first time that I could remember in 24 years i was with my mother and father together at the same time. Priceless... I finished AIT, and went back home to Brunswick for 11 days leave before I went to Korea. When it was time to leave, I drove to Charlston because I had to fly out from there. My father drove me to the airport for my departure. That was the last time I saw him alive. I missed his funeral. But all that i could remember of my father was great. when he was around he was a wonderful father. Very loving and kind and very skilled with his hands. I love and miss him dearly.
