Rion Baralangi is the grandson of Puang Datu, the king of Tanah Toraja, whose early power was in the monthly lepongan land of Toraja. And is currently called the Keadatan/Datuan kingdom.
and his descendants, Puang DATU, were many previous kings in Indonesia, including Men Padada, Pongtiku, etc.
The kingdom originally came from the southern Chinese kingdom and was the result of a marriage with the Mongolian kingdom, and those with brown/brown skin entered the archipelago via sea/ship.
Puang Datu Pettung was a descendant of Puang Tung Ugi. And to remember the previous king in their place of origin, a new tribe was formed, To Ugi (which means the people or society of King Puang Tung Ugi. And refined into Bugis.
