I have an old studio photograph of Josephine Collier ETTER – POWELL dated 1900 and taken at the C. F. Conly Studio in Boston, MA. Based on limited research I was able to gather the following information regarding Josephine and her family:
Josephine Collier ETTER was b. 23 Nov 1876 in Mount Joy, PA to parents Rev. John Wesley ETTER (1846-1895) and Sarah Elizabeth COLLIER (1851-1900). Josephine married twice, first to William G. POWELL who she married on 18 Jan 1897 in Greenup County, KY and second to Charles Elmer HOLMES (1863-1926) on 15 Jun 1903.
I am hoping to get this photograph to family and would appreciate you contacting me if you are a member of this family or you know someone who might be.

Jean was my father's cousin. Her maiden name was Derr. My Dad's mom was Tillie Muffly. I know that Tillie had sisters but I can only recall Ida and LaVinia. Jean's husband was a college professor(?). Jean and her husband had two daughters. I have met Rebecca. Unfortunately, Jean, my Dad and Dad's twin all inherited kidney disease. Jean refused to do dialysis.
