Addie Lucia Paine Snow
I have an old studio photograph of Addie PAINE SNOW which was taken at the Moody Studio in Rutland, VT. The photograph appears to have been taken in the 1890's or early 1900's with Addie appearing to be in her 30's or 40's at the time the photograph was taken. She is also identified as "Mother's Cousin" and "Capron + Paine" and "Paine side of the family".
Based on limited research I was able to gather the following information regarding Addie and her family:
Addie Lucia PAINE was b. 23 Sept 1858 in Leicester, VT to parents Edward John PAINE (1829-1905) and Sarah P. LAIRD (1825-1892) who were married 3 Dec 1857 in Leicester, VT. Addie appears to have been their only child. Addie married Marshall Olmstead or Olmsted SNOW (1852-1925) on 2 Jan 1877 in Leicester, VT.
Addie and Marshall had 6 children including Eleanor Alma “Ellany” Jenny Paine; Charles Edward; Warren James; Ida Estella or Estelle; Joseph Williams or William; and Della Adeline SNOW, all born between 1877 and 1891. Addie died 5 Oct 1949 in Lynn, MA.
I am hoping to locate someone from this family so that the photograph can be returned to the care of family. If you are a member of this family, or know someone who might be, please contact me.

No locations or photographers are identified. This is the only information I have specifically about this photo.
I purchased this in a huge lot of photos from Ebay. They have no traceable history as the seller got them from someone who checks the dumpsters behind estate sales around several states in the midwest! I can only list what is on the individual photos themselves as they all came from different places. That's why I'm posting as many photos as I can, so any more of their history isn't lost. I would be interested to know if they help any family researchers though.

They are PAINE'S / PAYNE'S, and related to my gr gf, George Washington PAYNE 1864-1932. The PAINE'S / PAYNE'S lived Elkhart, Indiana. This photo was found in a shoe box when my great grand aunt Nettie [PAYNE] died.
From another picture I have of a different family, in their picture, they are sitting on wicker furniture, and the ties on the men are worn the same, as are the dresses almost alike. That picture was taken in 1895.

I found a letter from my grandfather, Frank (Francis Marion Stall) born 1900 died 1994. He wrote down some stories he was told from his grandparents. One was about Castanas Paine, according to the letter Castanas was born in Bangor, Maine in 1830. He married my grandfather's mother (I don't know her name) but their children's name were Mildred, Fred, Walter, Charlotte (his mother) born in 1874, and two other daughters. Castanas supposedly was the first person to ship honey out of San Diego in the 1880s.
