I have read very old books by genealogists about Jane Broughton b. 1510-1570
in the "Chesters of Chicheley" they have John as her father and on another pages they have his brother as his father. Maybe a scriber's error. Found another book THe Virginia Magazine says that John is the father. However, it has different brothers for Jane. Lancelyn and Edward Broughton documented in the Chesters of Chicheley were without issue and left their estates to Jane. Joseph b 1828; Ann b 1829, d 1911; Mary Ann b 1832, d 1912; Nathaniel (Reverent) b 1833, d Malvern Victoria Aus 1923 - married Charlotte McKay; William Mansley Bennett, b 1834, d 1916; Thomas b 1838, d 1918 - married Sarah Cocker (see ); Elizabeth 1839; Joseph 1841. Tamar and Nathaniel were emigrating to New Zealand, Nathaniel slipped on deck, broke his spine, died and was buried at sea. Tamar did not embark from ship but took the family back to England. All her surviving children emigrated to various parts of the world, Tamar arrived in Melbourne Australia 15 April, 1863, moved to Sydney 12 July 1880 where she died two years later.

My name is Judith. My father's name was Charles Ralph, his father's name was Charles Herbert, his father's name was John Bishop Osborne who married Janet Lucas Crawford on the 23rd April 1874. Janet died on the 12th Jan. 1906. I am interested to contact any descendants of this family who would know when John Bishop died.
