Noel was a highly educated man and a talented lawyer, but with no energy. Seth Smith, who lived across the line in Monona county, but who was identified with Little Sioux in all things except actual residence in that town-ship, was from Ohio, and had been in that state a militia major.He brought with him a full suit of regimentals, cocked hat, giltepaulettes, glittering sword, and split-tail coat, and these insignia of greatness made him a man of mark. My father, Frederick was an awesome dad. He married my mom, Beverly Tregloan on Dec. 3. 195?. I have an older brother, Mark (64), and younger sister, Wendy Lee (57). We were raised in the Methodist church and he was involved, very involved in his kids life. He taught us good morals and provided a wonderful childhood. He was a craftsman and mechanic. Monday thru Friday, he was an engineer for the state and county. On weekends he loved working on his home. In 1976 my dad was diagnosed with a rare form of leukemia. I was the closest matching donor and donated platelets for him for four years until he passed. I miss you dad.
