Floyd Edsel Morrow- Obituary
MOUNT ENTERPRISE — Services for Floyd E. Morrow, 70, of Mount Enterprise, will be 11 a.m. today at First Baptist Church of Mount Enterprise with the Revs. Doyle Sumrall, James Henderson and John Heaton officiating.
Burial will be in Shiloh Cemetery under the direction of Crawford-A. Crim Funeral Home of Henderson.
Mr. Morrow was born April 8, 1925, in Mount Enterprise and died Sunday in Tyler.
He was a member of First Baptist Church of Mount Enterprise where he was a deacon for more than 40 years. A business leader, Mr. Morrow was the former president of Merchants State Bank of Mount Enterprise for 17 years and a member of the Rusk County Library board.
He was preceded in death by his par-ents, Mr. and Mrs. Walter D. Morrow, sister, Lela Stainback, and three brothers, William "Bud" and T.C. "Nick" Morrow and Jeff Watson.
Survivors include sister, Mable Miller of Pasadena; five nieces including Lynn Johnson of Mount Enterprise; three nephews and several great-nieces and great-nephews.

My Morrow family, William and Rosetta O'Boyle Morrow, came from Dublin Ireland to Delaware in about 1865. After only two years they returned to Ireland on the promise of involvement in the family owned business (farming?). The venture did not work out as planned and in about 1873 and three children later, they returned once again to Wilmington, Delaware.
The family then moved west to Oregon, settling in Douglas County for awhile, and finally in Clackamas and Multnomah Counties.

"Yumminess-Family Recipes and Their Roots" by Carole Morrow Rinne is a delightful collection of family recipes, each with a story about where the recipe came from, when it was served, or what significance it had for the family. The recipes are from both the Morrow Family and the Rinne Family. The book includes 62 family photos dating from 1850 to 2004. The book is available on Amazon.com.
