Ralph Irvin Mince as a baby
This had to have been taken in DeValls Bluff, Prairie County, Arkansas, in 1911 or 1912 where Ralph was born. It is his only baby photo and one of my favorites. He was so darn cute. You can tell he is a male as his hair is parted on the side, even though he is wearing a dress. It was easier to change babies in dresses, and they used them for both males and females.

Geneva cooked and cleaned and tried to go to school and have some social life, while she was there and stayed until the old folks passed on, after which Geneva became betrothed and married Ralph Irvin Mince.
