Mr. Donald McRae, one of the oldest and most respected residents of St. Albans, died at his home on the 24th April, after a long and painful illness. Mr.
McRae, who was born at Bannockburn, near Geelong, was a member of the Victorian Railways for the greater part of his life and came to reside at St. Albans over 33 years ago. He is survived by his widow, two sons, Leslie of St. Albans and Cecil of Essendon , and one daughter Mrs. W. Leake of Rockbank.
