Tunney McKay, age 6 years, son of Orville and Beulah (Trotter) McKay. Tunney drown on July 4th, 1932 in an empty oil tank of water, where he was swimming with his brother's Pharis and Dalton Mckay. The boys were forbidden by their parents to swim in this tank and Pharis (oldest) carried this guilt of his brother's drowning with him all of his life.

Lydia was my maternal grandmother's first cousin. They were both born in Scotland and both named Lydia after their grandmother, Lydia Francis Mincher. I have pictures of her and her brother and mother on Ancestry. Lydia had two marriages. I don't know the name of her 1st husband but she had a daughter named Marie. I have been unable to locate her. Her second husband and she lived in Washington state for years and before that in California. Their son was named Donald. I believe, without my notes, that her husband's name was Jesse Craig McKay. Lydia's mother, Mary Walton Mincher Ashforth, was one of many Mincher siblings. Some stayed in Scotland and others immigrated to South Africa and the U.S. among other places. My great grandfather, Joseph Albert Mincher, who died in Scotland, was Lydia McKay's uncle.

Hi, I am trying to find extra information on my Great Grandfather James Hamilton McKay, who married a Catherine McPherson, marriage place and date not known. Their daughter, my Grandmother, Rosetta was born in Penshurst Victoria, and married in Hamilton Victoria. Any other information regarding him will be greatly appreciated.
