This was taken at Bunny's house at her annual 4th of July party. She no longer wanted Clyde to live with her as she stated she didn't want the responsibility of taking care of him, yet was nice enough to invite him to the party. He was in a wheelchair, unknown at the time by his family that his back was broken.

This was taken in Massachusetts about 1901. My grandmother, Annie Marquette, is holding baby Hazel Edna. My grandfather, Charles Henry Ehrcke, is sitting next to her. Charles, born in Albany, was the son of Prussian immigrants, Charles Ehrcke and Fredericka Zinzow who came to America about 1869. My grandfather was a cigar maker who worked in the Buffalo area until he moved to Massachusetts. His father was a stone mason and contractor
in Albany, New York.
