1. Wash and peel potatoes, then cut potatoes into medium chunks. Put potatoes in a large sauce pan of water. Cook until tender, then drain and mash.
2. While potatoes are cooking boil the eggs.
3. Add mustard and miracle whip. I don't measure any of the ingredients. My grandma Phyllis Hart didn't measure the ingredients either.
4. Cut the pickles into small pieces. Also add half of the pickle juice.
5. Cut up the hard boiled eggs, mix into the salad. Save two eggs and slice them to use them as garnish on top of salad.
