Thomas Mackey was born on July 13, 1805, and died at age 97 years old in May 1903. Family, friend, or fan, this family history biography is for you to remember Thomas Mackey.
Henry John Mackey of Prahran Australia was born on July 26, 1826 at India, and died at age 86 years old on May 11, 1913 in Perth, WA.
Bridget was born in the family home of her parents John and Anne at Ballinahown, County Wicklow on the 17th of July 1834, Bridget grew up on the shared farm of the three Quinn families.
Around 1857, Bridget married Thomas Phibbs in Blackditches Church and went to live in his family home at Lug na Gun.
Thomas and Bridget had one daughter and two sons. Mary, Patrick was born on the 13th of December 1862 and John who was born on the 22nd of May 1864. Mary was raised by the Phibbs family.
But on the 4th of October 1864, Thomas died of stomach disease. Thomas' brother Patrick took over the farm. Bridget and her two sons were no longer welcome there and Bridget returned home to Ballinahown to live with her brother Henry.
Bridget then married Thomas Mackey on the 4th March 1867 at Blackditches Church. Bridget moved to her new husband's home in Lacken and they had one daughter and two sons.
Their daughter Ann was born on the 15th December 1867. William was born on the 28th of December 1868.
Another son, was born on the 31st of December 1869. However, he only lived for four hours and was not named. Five days after the birth of her son, Bridget died on the 5th of January 1870, at the age of 35.

A photo of an unknown woman - this was marked "John Hargis's Grandmother", only he had two, like everyone else, so WHICH ONE? I think this may have been Nancy Yoakum Mackey, due to the fact that I have photos of Mary ette Mackey Hargis, and her sister, who, in my opinion show a family resemblance as daughters. However, if I am incorrect then this is a photo of Eliza Jane Beckham Hargis.

Maybe as far back as Polhemus, Stone, Barnes, Wellington, Applegate, so many more... Zack and Maryetta's daughter Ida May Hargis Teeters (sister to both Nancy and Hattie) was the mother of Clara. Clara married Claude Guy Rarick in 1909 and they were the parents of 12 children.
