The original last name for Lotsey was Von Lozzi, Caspar Antonio Von Lozzi married and had 10 children - he left his then wife in NJ and moved to PA and married and had 10 more children. Legend has it that once the wives and 19 of the 20 children of Caspar found out what he had done, that the name Von Lozzi was cursed and then changed to Lotsey.
