I am looking for any information about the Lemay family that left the upper canada area and moved to new york. The only names I know of is they might have been a John? and Louisa? Lemay. I heard they may have traveled with the Landry and Bell families. My g-g Grandfather was Francis (Frank) John May b. Dec 4, 1841, Stephentown, NY. d. Feb 26, 1924, Chicago, IL. Marries a Margaret Bell Landry, Nov 11, 1862, MI (1st married name from Joseph Landry) She was b. 1846, Berlin, NY and had 2 children, Edward Thomas May(b. Oct 14, 1864 Ganges, Allegan Co, MI) and Della May (b. Aug 19, 1865). Margarets father was Joseph Bell. She may have died due to the birth of Della.
