He had nicknames for everyone & only called them by such. He wore work pants & white work shirts. Smoke fat cigar & chewed a twist of tobacco. Once drove across a frozen lake. Before farming he help build the pipeline and traveled across the country & to Brazil & panama. He operated heavy equipment & one of first caterpillar bulldozers he was in the newspaper for that with a picture of him ,& it.he made sure us granddaughters always had fun in the summers he put us in the back of the truck and ride us thru his fields he told us our names sounded like diseases as they were not popular names back then. He was the best papaw ever! He & vesta had a son Jimmy & daughter Marlene. 4 granddaughters 3 great grandsons 5 great granddaughters. He had several brothers and sisters.
