I’ve “rescued’ an old photograph of Olive LARSEN and an unidentified boy which was taken at the Emory Studio in Omaha, NE. The photograph appears to have been taken in the 1890’s or early 1900’s with Olive likely in her 20’s and the boy about 5-6 years old. Lauritz Larsen died at age 61 years old on November 2, 1895 in Spring City, Sanpete County, Utah United States, and was buried on November 4, 1895 at Spring City Cemetary in Spring City.
Andrew C. Larson's father was born in 1891 Denmark and his father was Peder Larsen.
New York passenger lists indicate that 18 year old Scandinavian Anders Larsen, age 18 and single, arrived in the United States on November 22nd 1910. He had departed from Copenhagen. Anders was 5 ft 5.5 inches, had fair hair, blue eyes, and a healthy complexion. He had $52 in his possession and was coming to meet his uncle, Ole Nielsen.
He married Elna B Feddersen (1891-1982) and they had children Eleanore Christina (1924-2000), and June (1931-2003). Andrew and Elna are buried together in Rock Island National Cemetery, Rock Island Illinois.
In the 1940 census, Andrew and Elna, along with Eleanor and June, were living in Kenosha Wisconsin. Andrew was 40 and working as a tool maker in an auto factory, and he owned their home. He stated that he had gone to school through 7th grade.
On his World War 2 draft registration card, Andrew Christian Larsen stated that he lived in Kenosha Wisconsin, was 50 yrs old, born in Denmark and that his next of kin was his wife Elna. He was working for Nash Kelvinator Corp in Kenosha.
