Mary Kiser was my Grandmother on my dad's side. She survived 2 husbands, Art Green and G.R. Kiser, birthing two children from each marriage. My dad, A.R. (Buster) Green, was from her 1st husband. She was quite a sturdy, pioneer type woman. She build several houses herself, was an expert seamstress, loyal and active church member of the Oneness Faith, gardener and she canned enough fresh grown produce to supply her family year round. She was always generous when I was around, although I didn't get to see her a lot, since she lived in Oklahoma and I was born and raised in the Fort Worth, Texas area. I knew she loved me, although, she was a little scary, because of her hard life, she came across a bit gruff.

(Polly) Chilress, died 27 May 1869; Abednego born 1784 married Polly Jessee and died on active duty in Norfolk, VA, in the War of 1812 4 Oct. 1814; John born 8 Aug. 1786 married Nancy Long, died 15 April 1852; Nimrod born 1788married Mary Breeding and died 1828; Ephraim born 1790 married Mary (Polly) Southerland, died 11 Oct. 1885; Mary born 1794 married James Artrip; Sussanah born 1792 married Stephen Skeen, died 23 July 1860; Charles born 1796, married Nancy Laforce, died 3 June 1880.
