He moved to Los Angeles, California in the 1930's and registered for the draft on October 16, 1940, in Los Angeles. At the time of his registration, Frank was employed by Adelson Brothers. In 1941, he married Doris M Fox in California. Frank then enlisted on March 1, 1943, in Los Angeles, California, USA. At the time of his enlistment, he had not been assigned to a military branch. He was enlisted as a Private in the Selectees.
