Dr. Donald Agger Kellogg's father was Winthrop Kellogg (1898-1972) who was a psychology professor at Indiana University, and his mother was Luella Dorothy Agger (1900-1972). Donald was married to Mrs. Patricia Kellogg and they had three children. See Dr. Donald Kellogg, Psychiatrist, Dies for more information.
Donald's father W.N. Kellogg is best remembered for his 'The Ape and The Child' study where he raised a chimpanzee as a twin to his son Donald. He thought that if kids raised by wolves become wolf-like, then could apes mimic humans?
Winthrop Kellogg made four films of his study that showed that the chimp (named Gua) did show signs of being more human. However, it is believed that there were unintended consequences where Donald began acting more chimp-like, so Winthrop ended his study rather abruptly (Reference: The Ape and the Child by W. N. Kellogg and L.A. Kellogg, New York: Whittlesay House, McGraw-Hill, 1933).
Donald ended up doing fine for himself later in life. He graduated Indiana University and Harvard Medical school to become a psychiatrist who practiced at Bethesda. He married Lydia Ann Dashiells on August 28th 1955. See Miss Dashiells Betrothed and Miss Dashiells Wed to Dr. Kellogg
Ultimately, however, Donald's life came to a tragic end when he committed suicide with a self-inflicted gunshot.
Professor Winthrop Niles Kellogg was born to Henry Niles Kellogg (1859-1931) and Florence Adele Bowns (1861-1914), and had brothers James Lester Kellogg (1881-1890) and Forest Bowns Kellogg (1887-1967), and a sister Adele Kellogg (1883-1951).
He was married to Luella Dorothy Agger (1900-1972) in December 1920 in Hamilton, Ohio, and they had one daughter and three sons, one of which is the rather famous Donald Kellogg.

Trying to help my husband find his heritage,,, we know his father William P Kellogg (1930-1997) NJ, and his grandfather George P Kellogg (1896-?) no other information. I am on ancestry.. i have searched the web for his aunts and uncles... no one can be found.
