I have in my possession and old photograph of Sarah C. KEEN which was taken at the Patton & Dietrich's Studio in Reading, PA sometime in the 1870's or 1880's. Sarah appears to be in her 30's at the time the photograph was taken. Based on limited research I was able to gather the following information regarding Sarah and her family:
Sarah C. KEEN was b. 24 Jun 1838 in Reading, PA to parents William KEEN or KEEHN (1814-1893) and Esther SETLEY or SETTLY (1816-1893) who were married 19 Jun 1836. Sarah had three siblings including Sophia or Sofia KEEN WHITMAN (1836-1921) and Margaret KEEN EARL (1840-1913) and Samuel KEEN (1844-1917). Sarah died 13 Aug 1909 in Reading, PA and she is buried in Aulenbach’s Cemetery in Mount Penn, PA.
I am hoping to get the photograph to her family and would appreciate you contacting me if you are a member of this family or know someone who might be.

This is my 3rd Great Grandfather Nathaniel Porter Keen. He was born on October 29, 1832 in Pembroke, Massachusetts. He became a Shipbuilder working on Cape Cod, East Boston, Duxbury and North Weymouth. He built the World's Largest 4 Masted Schooner "Haroldine" and she was launched at the N.P. Keen Shipyard on March 28, 1884. She made her Maiden Voyage to Hong Kong and Melbourne, Australia.

Beverly Louise (Mullen) Keen was born in Tucson Arizona in August 1942. She left her earthly home in February 2017. As a child she lived in Reseda California before moving with her family to Springville during her teens. This was a huge culture shock according to Beverly, who had grown up with sidewalks, gutters, and indoor plumbing! While attending Porterville High School, she met and later married her high school sweetheart, Russell Keen. Russell and Beverly moved numerous times but wound up living in Springville again in 1993. Beverly was preceded in death by her parents, Gilbert and Katherine (Potter) Mullen and her husband, Russell Keen.
Beverly is survived by three younger brothers Harold Mullen, Bruce Mullen, and Brian Mullen and one younger sister Lori (Mullen) Jones; her two children, Edward Keen and Lisa (Keen) Piotrowski; four grandchildren Joleen and Racquel Keen, and Blake and Ivy Fixler; and 3 great-grandchildren Ajrian, Oscar, and Ernesto.
Beverly was an honorable wife and protective mother. She was a homemaker and an avid seamstress and wore many of her own designs. She loved to spend hours in her flower garden and enjoyed feeding all of the birds in the neighborhood. Beverly was a lifelong member of the Springville Church of Christ and loved to wear her fancy hats to Sunday Services.
