I have an old studio photograph of Emogene INGERSOLL of Valley City, ND which appears to have been taken in the 1880's or 1890's. Emogene is likely in her teens or 20's at the time the photograph was taken. Based on limited research I was able to gather the following information regarding Emogene and her family:
Emogene or Emma Jean INGERSOLL was b. 27 Jul 1868 in Bergen, NY to parents Henry Mortimer INGERSOLL (1827-1895) and Mary Ann CALDWELL or COLWELL (1837-1888 or 1889) who were married in 1851.
