He was always getting excited over his next idea. Which caused successful businesses to wither away. He loved his family but was too preoccupied to bond with his children other than me. I understood him...I knew he was loving but showing it meant more than a monthly weekend visit throwing out wads of cash. Can't say he was a great man, he had a hard time turning down pussy but he was my Dad and I love him.

Fried/Baked Chicken.. take chicken, coat it or flour it, fry in 1" vegetable oil until browned and crispy. Line a baking dish with foil, put fried chicken on foil, cover the chicken and put 1/2 to 1 cup water in bottom of the lined foil (not on the chicken) and bake 1 hour at 350*. My grandma used to make it this way and everyone LOVED it.
