I never met my grandpa Charley Cross Henson bn-Dec.27, 1906 in Silverdale,Ks. The reason I never met him was because he met his demise by a tragic accident in Kansas City,Mo. From what my grandma Nellie Henson told us,grandpa Charley was crushed by brick wall on June 17,1945 in Kansas City,Mo. He was only 38 yrs. 5 months, and 20 days old! He had been crushed so badly that the only way they could confirm who he was, was because he had his social security number tattooed on his shoulder. He was employed with the Pacific Railrod Company at the time.
