Albert Stair Harry was born September 11,1848 in Ohio to Jesse Harry and Elizabeth Stair. He set up a photography studio in Stuebenville and worked there from 1878 to 1893. By 1894 Albert was living in New York City, and listed himself as an 'inventor' on his 1894 passport. He had a wife, Cordelia, and 2 children.
A.S. Harry died in New York in 1904.

This is a photo taken of Sydney Harry in Portsmouth when he was with the Royal Garrison Artillery. He migrated to Australia soon after, signed up for WW1 as a Signaller and went to Gallipoli where he was shot in the head. He never recovered from his injury and died after the war in Nowra N.S.W.
