Pvt. Ellie Hargett , He never got Over There
Of all the horrors of war, the strike of the Spanish Flu was the most unfair and brutal thing to have happened. It hit the able-bodied, capable and young. Fine young men answered their country's call. Pvt. Ellie Hargett died from complications of the Spanish Flu at Camp Wadsworth, South Carolina. He died after the Armistice, in December, 1918.
