Roger married Wanda Leiter (1905 - 1992). They had two children, daughters Virginia and Carman. When Roger was 40, he, Wanda, and their daughters were living in Auburn. Roger was a manager in a welding shop, Wanda was a saleslady of cosmetic products, and Carman, age 24, was the hostess at and a club. Virginia wasn't working - she was only 1 year old. When he was 41, he was described as 5 foot 10 inches and 145 pounds with brown hair, gray eyes, and a "light complexion". He was still living in Auburn and Wanda was his next of kin. He was self-employed.
