Robert Greene was the son of Dr. W. B. and Maggie Virginia (Cullen) Greene. He was born May 26, 1872, in Nashville, Tennessee. Death occurred Saturday November 2, 1918. At the early age, his parents moved to Indiana. In 1889 they settled in Salem, Dent County, Missouri. At this time Robert was about 15 years old. He begins the occupation of a jeweler at the age of 16 years. And throughout the remaining years of his life followed that occupation.
On June 26, 1900, he was united in marriage to Dollie A. Larkin, the Rev. H. C. Cavender preforming the ceremony. To this union were born eight children, three sons and five daughters including Robert, Rowland, Maggie Hildred, Edith Marion, Charles Norman, Clarine Idelle, Dollie Lucille, Elenore Camille, and Lawrence Jeweler. Also, he leaves one brother, Dr. C. H. Greene of Springfield.

Foch Davis Greene was my father; he was born in Ocoee Tennessee Dec 30 1918 to Newt and Annie Green. (Foch added the "e" to his last name when he was in his late teens). Foch served in the US Army and was stationed at different times in Georgia, Louisiana, Ft Carson, Colorado, and France and Germany during World War II. He was a quiet, intellectual young man and sought hard to learn and expand his knowledge in the insurance field where he excelled throughout his lifetime, working first in Tennessee, then in Texas, Colorado, Kentucky, and Georgia where he retired at the age of 62. He and his wife, Frances, had 3 daughters together, Judy, Paula, and Becky. Foch's hobbies were his lifelong love of fishing, especially in the high mountain streams of Colorado, wood working, and coin collecting. His craftmanship of his many wood projects are now enjoyed by his children, grand children, and great grandchildren. He loved grilling steaks and creating his own specialty spaghetti sauce. He instilled in his daughters the importance of learning about the world. We daughters easily remember how when we were little he said "now you girls can't read the funny papers until you read the front page of the newspaper. You need to learn about what's going on in this world."
Lucile Greene was the daughter of Richard Greene Sr and Margertte Vause. She had siblings Richard Greene Jr (1930-1992), Bernice I. Greene (1934-1999), Clementine I. Greene- Kornegay (1935-1991), Clementine Green (1935-1991), Ponto Greene (1937-2008), and Elizabeth Julia Greene-Watkins (1938-2023).
She was born on January 29, 1930 in Kinston, Lenoir County, North Carolina and lived most of her life in Lenoir County.
She was married to KD Collins (1924-1967) and they had two sons and two daughters.
Lucile Greene-Collins passed away on April 5, 2006 in Maryland United States.

Part of this is true, but according to our records, there was no ‘e’ on the end of Green at this time. I do show sons James C, Frank Ellis, Horace A, and Robert R… then a daughter in 1875 named Ruby M.
WB also had illegitimate sons Henry Lee (my grandfather) and Edward Hamilton before marrying their young mother, Hallie C Shelton in 1902. I’m guessing right after Maggie passed away.
He was a physician, surgeon, and doctor of medicine. Wiley worked in the Confederate Army and served in the Army during the U.S. Civil War.
