Originally belonged to Bessie SNYDER RABER of Logansport, IN
Including 14 classmates and staff members photographs all pictured together including Roy GEIGER. Based on limited research I believe that this is a photograph of Leroy “Roy” GEIGER and have gathered the following information regarding Leroy and his family:
Leroy “Roy” GEIGER was b. 21 Apr 1891 in Hastings or Milford, IN to parents John Henry GEIGER (1844-1921) and Mary Ann RINGGENBERG or RINKENBERGER or RINGENBERG (1853-1918). Roy was one of 11 children born to this couple including Franklin Pierce; Charles Henry; William Irvin “Dick”; Laura; Emma or Emily; Cora; Walter Rudolph; Walter L.; Ancil or Ansel Lafayette; Leroy “Roy”; and C. Harve or Harvey or Harney GEIGER, all born between1872 and 1893.
Roy married twice, first to Ruby Octavia BEUOY (1897-1924) on 18 Jun 1919 in Grant County, IN and second to Violet Juanita RUSH (1895-1981) in 1934. Roy and Ruby had one daughter, Gladys Irene GEIGER (1923-2010) and some records indicate he had a second daughter, maybe with this second wife. Roy died 18 or 19 Jun 1957 in Syracuse or La Porte, IN and is buried in the Leesburg Cemetery in Leesburg, IN.

Velma married C. Harve or Harvey GEIGER (1893-1975) on 6 Jul 194 in St. Joseph, MI and she died 17 Feb 1992 in Batavia, IL and is buried in the Cedar Memorial Park in Cedar Rapids, IA.

My Grandfathers name was Milton Geiger. He lived in Baltimore Maryland and was married to Zelma. They both were born circa 1910 and passed away in the 1980's. They had two children Gloria and Donald Charles Geiger Sr. My father was Donald Charles Geiger Sr and passed in 1999. My name is Donald Charles Geiger Jr. My father moved our family from Baltimore to Colorado in 1969 were I was raised, went to school, college and raised my children. Today I am back in Baltimore looking for relatives of my grandfather Milton. All of my children, 2 boys and 3 girls live in Colorado along with my young grandchildren.
