This is actually not a story. I am looking for any family members of mine. My grandparents are Harry Burns (b 1895) and Gertrude Galpin. Harry was originally from Ohio then he moved to "up north" Michigan -- Harrisville, Mikado, Glennie, Montmorency and Alcona Cty's. Harry and Gertrude eventually moved to Rochester and then to Pontiac, Michigan.

Harry's father, my great grandfather, was Ozen Galpin. He came from Conn and then Ohio, then to "up north" Michigan He married Lillian Taylor. Lillian and Ozen got a divorce in 1921 and Ozen remarried a gal named Ruth Graves Parker in 1921 or 1922. She was a neighbor of Ozen and Lillian and was the same age as my grandfather Harry. Ruth was previously married to a William Parker. They either got a divorce or William died- but whatever happened the 3 or 4 children that they had went to live with their Uncle Charles (Charlie) and aunt Nancy in Tenn. The census shows that. I would like to find out why and what happened to them.
Ruth and Ozen went on to have two more children, Ruth (Jr?) and Ozen Jr. who was nicknamed Ozzie. Ruth Jr married Kenneth Brown and Ozen Jr. married Irma (or Erma) Davis. Ozen Jr and Erma had two sons-Perry and Ronald. Ronald died in Vietnam. Ozen Jr and Irma got a divorce and Irma moved to the Detroit, Michigan area. Irma re-married (?) a Charlie Lyons.
