My dad was in the navy and away from his family a lot.My mum left him when my sister and I where about 2 and 4 years old.We did not know a lot about him till we where a lot older.When I was 18 I decided to go and find him.I moved to Qld so my children and I could get to know him but have since moved back to NSW, we are still in touch with each other on a regular basis.I also attended my Uncle Ronald's funeral in 2002 and got to meet other Aunts and Uncle's and cousin's I had never met.I have 5 children of my own and 3 foster children the 3 little one's are 7,6 and 4.My children are all grown up and married except my last child,I have 9 grandchildren.My sister has 3 boys all grown up she has 5 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild born last year.Our mum is still alive and living at Oakhurst.Dad lives in Qld with his wife Betty.
