On June 14, 1965, he married Irene Elizabeth Hernandez in Greeley.
From 1965-68, Mr. Euresti lived in Pontiac, Mich., where he worked for the Grand Truck Western Railroad. From 1968-95, he lived in Greeley and worked for Monfort and Labor Union Local 720 in construction before moving to Denver.
A loving husband and devoted father, grandfather and uncle, Mr. Euresti was a very respected man among his family, friends and co-workers. He would help anyone in need and distributed dollar bills and burritos to the homeless. He enjoyed casinos, playing cards and pool and liked to get out and about among people.
Survivors are his wife, Irene Elizabeth Euresti of Denver; a daughter, Andrea Lynette Euresti of Denver; two sons, Bruno Euresti III, also of Denver, and Juan Euresti and wife LeAnn of Greeley; five granddaughters, Elizabeth Nunez and husband Joe and Hillary and Alexus Euresti, all of Greeley, and Unique Cisneros Euresti and Jasmine Delgado Euresti, both of Denver; two grandsons, Christopher Euresti and Juan Euresti Jr., both of Greeley; and a great-granddaughter, Leslie Nunez of Greeley.
Also surviving are five sisters, Paz Ramirez of Mountain View, Calif., Caroling Rios and husband Esequel of Rio Hondo, Texas, Nancy Euresti of San Antonio, and Eloisa Salazar and Marcie Saucedo and husband Ray, all of Greeley; and a brother, Cipriano Euresti and wife Janie of Greeley.
His parents; three sisters, Guadalupe, Reyes Salazar and Pauline Padilla; two brothers, Juan and Enfemio Euresti; and a granddaughter, LaToya Cisneros Euresti, preceded him in death.
Irene was born in Greeley on Nov. 15, 1948, to Encarnacion and Elizabeth (Mendoza) Hernandez Jr. Irene attended Greeley Central High School before starting her career at the phone company, Mountain Bell.
She married Bruno Euresti Jr. on June 14, 1965, and shortly after moved to Pontiac, Mich. They moved back to Greeley in 1968 and stayed there until they moved to Denver in 1995, for Irene to continue in her career at the phone company, before she retired in 2004.
In 2009, she was re-married to Augustine Sanchez. Irene loved music, softball, sewing, crocheting, the Oakland Raiders, Colorado Rockies, and her family. Her family was the light of her life, and she was our Wonder Woman.
She is survived by her husband, Augustine of Denver; daughter, Andrea of Denver; son, Juan (LeAnn) of Greeley, and Manuel (Vivian) of San Antonio, Texas; stepdaughters, Sierra and Jennifer (Ryan); stepson, Jason (Casey) all of Denver; 17 grandchildren, Elizabeth (Jose) of Greeley, Christopher, Unique (Davika) of Denver, Hillary (Joel) of Thornton, Jasmine (Ray) of Denver, Alexus (Scott) and Juan Jr. of Greeley, and JoeRay, Jacob, Jasmine, and DeMarco also of Greeley, Nicanor, Analeesa, Dominic, Hayden, Kordell and Kayliegh all of Denver; seven great-grandchildren, Leslie, Lily, and Max of Greeley, Serenity, Xzavier, and McKynzie of Thornton, and Lacey of Denver; sisters, Anna (Jerry) of Loveland, Chata (Chapo) of Gillette, Wyo., Henrietta (Don) of Stockton, Calif. and Barbara (Jose) of Evans; brother, Charles (Pam) of California and Juan of Snyder, Texas.
She is preceded in death by her beloved first husband Bruno Euresti Jr.; son, Bruno Euresti III; granddaughter, LaToya Cisneros-Euresti; nephew, Jacob Guzman; brothers, Bobby and Jimmy; sisters, Annie and Lorraine; parents, Encarnacion and Elizabeth Hernandez; grandmother, Andrea Hernandez; and twin great-grandchildren.
