My mother married a Eugene Estes in the early 60's. They lived a few months in Miami, Fl, separated and divorced before a son was born. That son is now 50 years old. Eugene Estes' family is from Virgina. I would be thankful for any information.

John Curtis and Minnie Curtis had two daughter Mammie Bell Curtis. Mamie was born Maybe in knoxville Tnn Feburay 6, 1898 Nannie Kay Curtis(unknownbirth) The two sisters married two brothers Mamie married Rodney Estes Nannie married Dabney Estes. Mamie and Rodney had 5 Children. Leon Delmar, Ciffton John, Norman Alver, Ernest Cecil, R.C. Estes (died in June 1932)the family was living in Maiden Springs Va....in 1931 and 1932 Rodney Estes died in a close Mine in June 1932......with another name person Vickers...... Estes family moved back to Richmond from Wise county.....However, It remains a mystery who the parents of Rodney Estes and Dabney Estes or other family members it is believe the father of these two lived in Louisa Va....We do know that they had a sister who they called Ophia she had one son named Donald Estes.........The mysteries that surround the Estes and Curtis family is hard to research........John Curtis the father of Mamie and Nannie is also a mystery He had another daughter that was raised by his mother Named Caroline she was killed at the age of 21 by a street car.....However the family did not know about her until later years............After the death of Minnie Curtis .........John left his home in Richmond and May have married another women this woman is unknown to the family also because when John return to his home he was ill and spent his last days with his daughter Mamie.
