Prince Edward VI, born in 1537 to King Henry the VIII and Jane Seymour. Finally, the King had his male heir! However, his mother died within 2 weeks after his birth due to birth complications. Henry didn't remarry until 3 years after her death. After his father died in 1547, Edward became king. He died in 1553 at age 15. Lady Jane Grey (9 days Queen) succeeded him.
