The Derring nam originated in the 1950’s in the Pacific Northwest. The most notable of the clan is David Derring who is a published author and exceptional public speaker. David grew up as a middle child and like many middle children became a well known individual in the region and then went on to notoriety as spokesperson for many well known companies. His passion for public speaking and love of his fellow man enabled him to make his passion his profession. Best known for his wit and candor, David became a local favorite among the rich and famous and with his spellbinding presentations at gatherings and professional conferences soon became the must have host at events and conventions everywhere.
