Fred Houston Deal
I have two old studio photographs of Fred Houston DEAL, one taken when he was 3 months old + 17 days and the other at 6 months old. One was taken at the Weiser Studio in Knoxville, TN, the other has no photographer or location identified. Based on limited research I was able to gather the following information regarding Fred and his family:
Fred H. DEAL was b. 10 Jul 1906 in Knoxville, TN to parents Henry Lee DEAL (1884-1982) and Maude Grace HOUSTON (1887-1957) who were married 1 Oct 1905 in Knox County, TN. Fred was one of 6 children born to this couple including Fred Houston; Roy Raymond; Rosetta; James William; Mildred Frances; and Bessie Kate DEAL, all born between 1906 and 1920.
Fred married Jennie Mae WATSON (1905-1995) on 12 Oct 1924 in Knox County, TN and they had four children including Fred Houston DEAL Jr. (1925-1954); Lillian Frances DEAL (1926-2006); Alvin Henry DEAL (1929-1990); and Baby Boy DEAL. Fred died 10 Feb 1949 in Knoxville, TN and is buried in the Berry Highland Memorial Cemetery in Knoxville, TN.
I am hoping to locate someone from this DEAL Family so that the photographs can be returned to the care of family. If you are a member of this family or know someone who might be, please contact me.

Fighting Breakers for Three Days
Fighting breakers for three days - The surf boat left Florence, Coos Co., Oregon port to assist the schooner Helen B. Sterling, which was in danger of piling up on the rocks at Heceta Head. After three days the Coast Guard cutter Haida relieved the sailors, but they were still unable to cross the bar so they moved 10 miles out to sea and anchored with two anchors. They were unable to return to port for another two days.

There was some talk about our ancestors across the pond not liking

Virginia Ruth Deal from Trowbridge Windsor
Virginia Ruth Deal from Trowbridge Windsor genealogy. I don't know where, when or who took this picture but it reminds me of the actress Jena Davis. When she was born and Roy and MargeretSidney named her Virginia, Margaret's family from Ingland didn't like her name because the Virginia State jailed the British solders in the last work. My mom's sister told me my grand mother made cakes for the Royal family.
Virginia Ruth Deal Wilson
These pictures are all I have left of my families life. This is Virginia Ruth Deal Wilson Fidik my mother. She was nicknamed Jimmy by her family. She was a draftwoman, she bred poodles when I was a child, she loved horses and bred a couple of Arabians in Texas, and later German Shepherd dogs. She was involved in showing both. Her favorite color was red. She was a late born child and has two older siblings, Midge/Marjorie and Bob/Robert. Bob was the oldest. (I have endocrine cancer and may not have another chance to do my genealogy; hence these are left for my grand daughter and any other descendents.) My mother died of tumors from brest cancer 2001 which the medical records show an investigation on what cause the cancer. Was not hormones which usually causes breast cancer. Her husband retired from a chemical storage tank farm in Texas then moved to Florida with a younger woman after taking all my inheritance for his family. My mother didn't have any children from her last husband, Fidik. And Mark had no children. There was my older brother Guy, me and my younger brother Mark who was born mentally r******* and resides at the Richmond state school for the mentally retarted in Tx. My mom took drugs and drank but blamed the doctors for Mark's mental retardation. Many children were born around the same time without ears due to the medications the drug manufactures made in the 1960. I was lucky. After my younger brother was born my mom had shock theropy. I couldn't get my aunt to tell me what happened to my mom. Hence, it could me a medical condition causing issues. Love your family and help them.

This is a picture of my mother Virginia Ruth Deal; Her family called her Jimmy which she hated. There was a fire in her home that burn her some of her things.
